Mission:

To produce creative, innovative plays and events to stir audiences and students to explore and contemplate the human condition through the talents of local artists. The Gilbert Theater serves the community by producing classic and cutting edge contemporary plays and musicals; educating the community's actors and theater artists, young and old, by engaging them with timeless music and literature through expressive theater; committing itself to the continuous improvement of its community of local artists through training, collaboration with professionals in the field, and meaningful production experience; providing opportunities for staff, volunteers, actors, teachers, and artists to join in the celebration, education, and practice of theater; and dedicating its work to the local community and its artists.

Our mission is the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, the facilitation of spay and neuter of animals, the transport and rehoming of animals, and the extension of humane education.

It is the policy of the Society to provide humane care and treatment for all animals needing protection in the area seved by the Society; to seek suitable homes for animals without homes; to provide access to low-cost or free spay or neuter or animals; to transport animals to no-kill shelters for the purposes of adoption; and to provide euthanasia when necessary.
