Friends of Fort Fisher

Friends of Fort Fisher partners with Fort Fisher State Historic Site and the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to preserve the Fort Fisher historic battlefield and training ground, interpret Fort Fisher's stories and promote a greater understanding of and appreciation for the significance of Fort Fisher’s role in our history.

John C. Campbell Folk School

John C. Campbell Folk School provides experiences in non-competitive learning and community life that are joyful and enlivening. Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.
