The Outer Banks Community Foundation helps meet local needs across Dare County and the entire Outer Banks. We manage charitable funds for individuals and agencies, and we target grants and scholarships toward our community’s most pressing needs and promising opportunities.
We are a private non-profit direct human services organization providing residents and visitors of the Outer Banks with crisis intervention and prevention services, safe housing, information, education and advocacy to domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking survivors. We make it possible for those who want to be free of a violent relationship, to succeed. We make hope real.

The mission of Pamlico Arts Council (PAC) is to promote, sponsor, and advocate the diversity and growth of all the creative arts in Pamlico County – visual, performing, and literary; to promote the creative arts as vital to the economic growth of Pamlico County; to support and advocate creative arts programs in the schools of Pamlico County; to preserve the cultural heritage of Pamlico County; and to raise funds to support these efforts. The PAC has placed great emphasis on bringing the arts to the schools and providing new initiatives county-wide.
