Charlotte Community Services Association's mission is "Changing the Lives of Charlotte Area Youth By Providing Community-Based Programs of Excellence" and our motto is "Excellence For All." We provide academic and fine arts afterschool and summer programming, as well as offer an intensive tutoring program. We serve mostly low-income students of color and operate out of the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church-West.

Learning Everyday Accomplishing Dreams (LEAD) is dedicated to providing the tools and resources that low-income/at-risk preteen girls must have to become productive citizens and active leaders in their communities. Using an evidence-based curriculum, LEAD encourages and mentors girls to aspire and achieve greatness academically, emotionally and creatively.
HIS Daughters' Legacy, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicate to empowering young girls through mentorship, leadership development, and faith-based programming. Our mission is to equip girls with the tools they need to embrace their inherent worth, cultivate self-esteem, and fulfill the purpose GOD has for their lives.

Chatham Girls 4STEM works with 5th and 6th grade girls to stimulate an interest in continuing to pursue science, technology, engineering, arts and math studies. This program exposes girls to the opportunities to grow with hands-on exploration with actual engineers. This program inspires girls to shine in these areas and instills confidence that they can excel.
Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence & character who make the world a better place
To support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth by offering vital programs, fostering unconditional acceptance, and creating safe spaces for self-expression through leadership, community support and advocacy.
