The purpose of our program is to foster responsible behavior among Durham’s young people, to deter court-referred youth from becoming repeat offenders and to decrease the dropout rate of students in Durham school.

The mission of SOAR Outreach is to provide low-income and homeless youth in Wake County improved opportunities to excel in their education by ensuring that all children in our schools have equal access to basic personal care and hygiene items. We aim to empower all kids, provide equal opportunities for kids regardless of income, decrease bullying in our schools, and increase classroom successes in our most vulnerable population of kids.

It is the Mission of HIS Daughter's Legacy, Incorporated (HDL, INC) to inspire, empower, and educate young girls to fulfill the plan GOD has for their lives by making positive life choices that will lead to becoming young woman who are purposed and positioned to leave a legacy to the next generation of Daughters.
HDL, Inc. is a girls mentoring program dedicated to providing young girls ages 7 - 17 with the tools they need to become the young women God intended them to be.
The Osman Foundation exists to help K-12 students reach their full potential through academic and enrichment programs.
Following is an overview of a few of our programs that support our mission.
Chatham Girls 4STEM works with 5th and 6th grade girls to stimulate an interest in continuing to pursue science, technology, engineering, arts and math studies. This program exposes girls to the opportunities to grow with hands-on exploration with actual engineers. This program inspires girls to shine in these areas and instills confidence that they can excel.
To implement efficient and effective programs that enrich, empower, and enlighten youth with life skills to help them be successful in their life pursuits and to be better citizens and responsible adults in the communities in which they live.
To support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth by offering vital programs, fostering unconditional acceptance, and creating safe spaces for self-expression through leadership, community support and advocacy.
To provide housing, life skills, job training, and mental health services to at risk and homeless young adults primarily in the 16-22 year old range
