The North Carolina Youth Violence Prevention Center (NC-YVPC) supports the needs of youth and families by providing a seamless continuum of services to prevent future violence, support victims, and promote resiliency in coping with life stressors.
Wilkes Youth Life Development (WYLD) is a youth serving
non-profit organization focused on developing healthy
and resilient youth in Wilkes County. Our goal is to give
them the support and skills they may need to become
successful, independent adults. We plan to accomplish
our mission by modeling healthy relationships, building
positive environments, providing meaningful
experiences, and creating a sustainable organization
through strong governance and community
partnerships. We serve Wilkes County youth ages 8-18.Our mission is to help underserved youth in East Charlotte develop optimal health through resilience-focused mentoring, education, and anti-violence programs
To help underserved youth, develop the emotional and social intelligence needed to counteract delinquency and refute negative social narratives.
Mobilizing high school students by teaching them how to execute community service projects and connecting them to nonprofits through internships, while serving as an advocate for the nonprofit sector to promote the welfare of the citizens of the State of North Carolina.
The mission of H.E.A.R.T.S. is to educate and equip all adolescent parents, ages 13-22, with the tools needed to become independent and self-sufficient, with an outcome of all participants achieving their best lives.
