To provide educational and recreational programs for young people based on "learn by doing."
To engage, educate and empower children to succeed in school and in life through quality, year-round educational enrichment programs.
To provide residential summer camp experiences for five consecutive summers, follow-up enrichment activities, and mentoring for Charlotte-Mecklenburg public school students who have limited financial resources and demonstrate strong academic effort, leadership potential, and good citizenship.
To help youth of all backgrounds, with special concern for those from disadvantaged circumstances, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders.
To mentor and guide children and youth to help them reach their full potential and become healthy, positive members of their communities
To empower youth in partnership with adults to create community change, and to utilize the Youth Empowerment Model to empower youth in their local and state advocacy efforts.
