Director, NC Child Treatment Program

Program Description: The purpose of the North Carolina Child Treatment Program (NC CTP) is to implement, disseminate, and sustain an array of evidence-based, mental health treatment models (EBTs), addressing psychological trauma, attachment, and disruptive behaviors among children birth through 18 years of age. These efforts are designed toward assuring that effective – and cost-effective – mental health treatment is available in communities and facilities across North Carolina.

Deputy Director (Local Strength)

The North Carolina Association of Educators seeks a talented, dedicated, and experienced union, community, or electoral organizing manager to fill the position of Deputy Director of Local Strength, Organizing and Field Services. The Deputy Director will, with other Deputy Director, lead and manage a field team to develop local strategic plans, leadership development programs and trainings to rebuild and transform our local unions and school communities. The Deputy Director of Local Strength, Organizing and Field Services, reports to the Director of Organizing and Field Services.

BACKGROUND

Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation is a statewide, private, family foundation dedicated to improving the quality of life for all North Carolinians. The Foundation was established in 1936 as a memorial to Z. Smith Reynolds, the youngest son of R.J. Reynolds. For more than eighty years, the Foundation has been engaged in forward-thinking philanthropy with contributions of $608 million in North Carolina.

Education Manager

The Education Manager (EM) Manager is responsible for maintaining and managing all educational programs of CANC. EM will oversee a number of initiatives related to climate change, air quality monitoring, and health. EM will collaborate with other CANC program managers to strategically educate and engage North Carolinians in advancing CleanAIRE NC’s mission.

In this role, the EM will specifically plan, oversee, and execute the Charlotte Mecklenburg Climate Leaders (CMCL) and NC Climate Ambassadors (NCCA) programs and partner with schools, healthcare systems, and community organizations to provide education on the health impacts of climate change and air pollution, and on effective strategies to improve health in their communities.
