To improve the quality of life in the communities we serve through our giving, encourage employees' personal philanthropy, participate in community support events, and demonstrate corporate citizenship through contributions.

To support projects that benefit Greensboro or Guilford County, North Carolina.

To support projects in North Carolina that are working to improve economic opportunities for disadvantaged individuals and communities and to improve race relations.

To support activities and causes that benefit the greater Greensboro area.

The Triangle Nonprofit & Volunteer Leadership Center strengthens nonprofits and mobilizes volunteers throughout the greater Triangle area. We partner with more than 1,400 nonprofits and coordinate the largest volunteer database in the Triangle (www.handsontraingle.org). Through our Student Leadership programs we encourage student to make a difference --annually they serve more than 45,000 hours. We also engage corporate volunteers throughout our communities. Our goal is to raise awareness, increase engagement and impact local needs.

Golden LEAF’s mission is to increase economic opportunity in North Carolina’s rural and tobacco-dependent communities through leadership in grantmaking, collaboration, innovation, and stewardship as an independent and perpetual foundation.
