Organizational Overview
The AMBUCS mission of inspiring mobility and independence is accomplished through a nationwide network of volunteers working in partnership with physical and occupational therapists to provide Amtryke adaptive trykes, fund scholarships for therapists, build home accessibility ramps and universally accessible playgrounds, coordinate Challenger and Miracle Leagues, and much more. The efforts of our dedicated volunteer network are supported by a small, but equally committed staff.
National AMBUCS, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a wholly-owned adaptive tricycle corporation called Amtryke, LLC.

Position
Our CARE Associate will love systems and processes, be highly organized and detail-oriented, bring excitement and comfort to being part of a charitable organization, and enjoy being a team player. This professional is charged with supporting different departments across the organization as well as effectively moving AMBUCS to the next level of programmatic impact and success. We need someone who is flexible and willing to wear many different hats.

Daily Responsibilities

o Receive and enter Amtryke payments and orders, which may come in by email, fax, the webstore and over the phone.
o Field a variety of questions that might include technical support, returns, lost packages, charitable programs and/or membership-related support.
o Assist the CARE Coordinator with troubleshooting, pulling reports, scheduling pickups, and shipping small parcel.
o Assist the membership team with shipping supplies, preparing membership letters and other mailings.

Qualifications
The preferred candidate sees no detail as too small. They are solution-oriented and love making things run smoothly and efficiently.
The successful candidate will have the following professional qualifications:
o Prior customer care experience required.
o College degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
o At least two years of experience working at a nonprofit organization or small business.
o Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Adaptability in a fast-paced working environment.
o Self-starter, results-oriented, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
o Experience communicating and working in partnership with diverse populations.
o Exercises critical thinking and understands how to be resourceful.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and take initiative independently.
o Computer literacy – QuickBooks, Windows/Microsoft Office 365 environment (with an emphasis on Excel), online office productivity platforms (database, email marketing, project management, etc.). Experience with Sage 50 is desirable but not required.
o Effective and clear verbal and written communication skills.
