The North Carolina Center for Nonprofits has invited every candidate for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, NC Senate, and NC House in the 2022 election to share their insights on three questions of interest to nonprofits across the state. Responses (unedited) will be posted on our website and sent to all Center Members, including board, staff, and volunteers at more than 1,500 nonprofit organizations serving all 100 counties of North Carolina.
The Center encourages candidates to respond by April 15th to be included when we begin publicizing responses; however, we will continue to accept responses through the May 17th primary election and into the summer and fall for general election candidates.
You can download the fillable questionnaire, then fill it out, save it and either attach it to an email to David, fax it to 919-877-8111, or mail it to Attn: David Heinen, North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, PO Box 98475, Raleigh, NC 27624-8475
To provide some context on charitable nonprofits in our state, the Center has prepared an information sheet on North Carolina's nonprofit sector.
