What Does Supreme Court's Decision Mean for Foundations and Charitable Organizations?

On June 29, 2023, the U.S. Supreme Court announced their opinion in a pair of cases – Students for Fair Admissions Inc. v. President, and Fellows of Harvard College and Students for Fair Admissions v. University of North Carolina. The Court held that "Harvard’s and UNC’s admissions programs violate the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment."

Over the last few months, the potential ramifications of a decision have been a growing topic among foundations and charitable organizations. Join legal experts as they share what this opinion means for nonprofit organizations and the communities they serve.
