Virtual Racial Equity Cohort - Workshop 1

We are continuing to see the effects of COVID-19 disproportionately impact communities of color all over the country as it relates to healthcare, education, the economy, social services, the job market, and many other systems. It is critical that we acknowledge and understand WHY communities of color are disproportionately experiencing the worst of this pandemic, and HOW we can ensure our individual and structural responses don’t inadvertently perpetuate and exacerbate these disparities.

The Equity Paradigm is excited to facilitate a Virtual Racial Equity learning series on Fridays in June (June 12, June 19 and June 26). This series will provide participants with a foundational understanding of racial equity, as well as tangible behaviors, mindsets and decisions that can help advance racially equitable outcomes on individual, organizational and structural levels. Registrants will be sent a link to allow access to the workshops.

Workshop 1: June 12
Our Foundations in Racial Equity workshop is focused on building social, political, historical and economic context around the construction of race, and helps participants build a systemic, institutional and cultural analysis of racialized outcomes, all through the lens of our own racial identities, experiences and encounters.
