Selecting Software Products for Nonprofits

In this virtual workshop, we will cover the two most common types of software products used by nonprofits. We will discuss Volunteer Management software that helps nonprofits find, recruit, and train volunteers, and Donor Management / Fundraising software that helps nonprofits helps manage, track, and execute fundraising strategies to engage and retain donations. We will discuss the key features along with the costs and benefits of several different products. Representatives from local nonprofits will be joining in to discuss their experience with the products they use.

At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify key features of volunteer management software
  • Identify key features of donor management / fundraising software
  • Understand the real-world concerns raised by local users
  • Perform their own selection analysis for a tool that meets their needs
