Accidental Techie: The Human Side of Technology

Not everyone who supports technology is a techie. And yet, maybe you’ve found yourself in charge of your organization’s systems and infrastructure because you've shown some aptitude for it. By innocuously fixing a printer jam or formatting an Excel spreadsheet, you were recruited; you were volunteered; you’re what we call an “Accidental Techie.” The good news is, you're not the only accidental techie in the nonprofit sector and you don't have to go it alone.

IT isn’t just IT. A big part of the job is working directly with people – both to fix small problems and undertake long-term planning. In this webinar, you’ll develop strategies for leading large-scale technology projects and pass on tips from our own in-house IT expert on the best ways to work one-on-one with your colleagues.

This is the third webinar in the 3-part series, Accidental Techie: How to Support Your Nonprofit Without an IT Background, focused on hardware infrastructure basics, managing software and security, and the human side of technology.
