EDI Roundtables for Nonprofit Executives

The path towards equity and inclusion in our sector demands brave spaces for bold action. The EDI Roundtables for Nonprofit Executives is a safe space for nonprofit leaders to have courageous and meaningful dialogue that addresses the nonprofit sector’s racial leadership gaps and the policies, practices, and organizational cultures in nonprofits that exacerbate these gaps.

Looking through the lens of five essential nonprofit management practices rooted in the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits’ Principles & Practices: Best Practices for North Carolina Nonprofits guide, and building on its Walking the Talk initiative, the EDI Roundtables will help leaders generate ideas, actions, and practical strategies to implement within their organizations that help identify and eliminate systemic barriers and practices.

Expert facilitators will guide and moderate weekly virtual sessions in a lunch & learn format, focusing on visioning in the nonprofit sector, board governance, human resources, fundraising, strategic planning, and partnerships and collaboration.

Executive directors/CEOs, senior level staff/directors, board chairs, and other nonprofit decision makers will benefit most from this program.
