Grants Manager

The Grants Manager will serve as the primary administrator of Dogwood’s grants management systems and work to ensure that all users are able to work effectively within the system. The Grants Manager will work with staff from across the foundation to identify and implement system enhancements, with a focus on working to streamline our processes and improve user experience and design, in alignment with Dogwood’s strategies and priorities.

Tutoring has been proven to have significant, positive effects on student outcomes in recent, rigorous studies, but few programs exist focused on elementary math. Gift Shop Manager

Nonprofit wildlife sanctuary in Pittsboro seeks 40-hour/week manager for the on-site and online gift shops. Identifies new vendors and merchandise, maintains stock, and continually enhances the display of merchandise and appearance of the shop. REQUIRED: ability to work weekends, minimum of two years of retail sales experience, knowledge of website content management systems and e-commerce platforms, effective communication, and customer service skills, internet and computer proficient, and able to interact with a diverse array of volunteers and guests.

Museum Rental Associate

The Friends of the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences (Friends) seeks a Museum Rental Associate. This position will report directly to the Museum Rental Manager, assisting with the in-office coordination of rental spaces and serving as an on-site representative during rental events held at the Museum. The Museum Rental Associate must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in complex situations and with a variety of individuals diplomatically and assertively. The Museum Rental Associate must be available for some evening and weekend hours based on the rental events schedule.
