The NC Rural Center manages a suite of small business capital support programs called the Small Business Credit Initiative (SBCI). Through business lending and early-stage equity investments, the initiative promotes economic growth and job creation and retention across all 100 North Carolina counties. The suite of programs, including the newly established COVID-19 Rapid Recovery Program, totals approximately $200 million in assets under management.
Community Affordable Housing Equity Corporation (CAHEC) is currently seeking candidates for a Manager, Lending position for CAHEC Capital, Inc. – a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that serves as the lending affiliate of CAHEC. CAHEC is a non-profit tax-credit syndicator based in Raleigh, NC that fosters healthy neighborhoods by raising equity capital and investing in affordable rental housing and community revitalization. Our portfolio comprises 700 assets in eleven states.
