Assistant - Conference/Meetings/SLI

The Conference/Meetings/Sheriff’s Leadership Institute Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Manager - Conference /Meetings/SLI. This is accomplished by implementing a detailed approach to project management, drafting and editing documents and written communications, directing all Audio/Visual technology at all meetings, assisting with the logistics and training coordination at conferences, and managing multiple project deadlines. This position reports to the Manager – Conference/Meetings/SLI.

Coordinator - Conf./Meetings/SLI

The Coordinator will work with the Manager - Conference/Meetings/Sheriffs’ Leadership Institute to plan and implement various training opportunities for the sheriffs and sheriffs’ personnel of North Carolina. This includes the Annual Training Conference, Spring and Fall Meetings, Sheriffs’ Leadership Institute (SLI), and other special project-related training events. The Coordinator will assist with planning and organizing the logistics for all Association conference and training events.

Director of Government Relations

The North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association is a non-profit organization that represents the 100 Sheriffs of North Carolina and their personnel. We are looking for a team member who is very detail-oriented and who can multi-task in a very fast paced, busy environment. We are also looking for someone with a sincere commitment to excellence and the success of the Association, as well as respect for the constitutional Office of Sheriff and the persons holding the Office.

Coordinator - Business Development

The Coordinator – Business Development is primarily responsible for representing the NCSA at annual procurement trade shows and conferences. This position also assists in the day-to-day operations of the Association’s procurement programs. These primary responsibilities are accomplished by implementing a detailed approach to program management, project coordination, vendor relationship management, and marketing.

Resource Coordinator for NC 2-1-1 and NCCARE360

The Resource Coordinator position assists with the coordination and maintenance of resource data supporting United Way of North Carolina’s NC 2-1-1 information and referral system as part of the NCCARE360 team. The USO of North Carolina, Inc., a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to strengthen America’s service members and their families by connecting them to family, home and country, is accepting applications for the position of Sandhills Region (Fort Bragg) Pathfinder Site Manager.
