Meeting and Events Coordinator (Part-Time 30 hours/week)

REPORTS TO: Director of Partnership Engagement and Communications

The Meeting and Events Coordinator serves as the lead staff for the coordination of statewide trainings, conferences, and meetings including the Biennial Summit, Community Cafés, Community Child Abuse Prevention Planning, and other community events. This position reports to the Director of Partnership Engagement and Communications and works in collaboration with the Partnership Engagement and Communications team.

Budget & Tax Center Policy Analyst

The North Carolina Justice Center is the state’s leading research and advocacy organization dedicated to transforming North Carolina’s prosperity into opportunity for all. Disability Rights North Carolina seeks an experienced Investigator/Advocate to conduct investigations and advocacy on behalf of people with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to protecting the rights of people with disabilities, an ability to interview people with disabilities and observe conditions in a variety of settings, including institutions, group homes, schools, psychiatric hospitals and work places, as well as analyze complex factual situations.

Gift Shop Manager

Nonprofit wildlife sanctuary in Pittsboro seeks 40-hour/week manager for the on-site and online gift shops. Identifies new vendors and merchandise, maintains stock, and continually enhances the display of merchandise and appearance of the shop. REQUIRED: ability to work weekends, minimum of two years of retail sales experience, effective communication and customer service skills, online and computer proficient, and able to interact with a diverse array of volunteers and guests. PREFERRED: knowledge in website content management systems and e-commerce platforms.
