The North Carolina Justice Center is a progressive research and advocacy organization dedicated to expanding opportunity and protecting the rights of low-income individuals in North Carolina. For over 20 years, the Justice Center has been on the front lines in the courts, at the legislature, in the media, and in communities advocating for positive changes for poor and working North Carolinians. Toxic Free NC fights for environmental health and justice by advocating for safe
alternatives to harmful pesticides and chemicals in agriculture and consumer
products. We’re seeking a Policy Director to ensure that public policy is
responsive to those most affected by toxic pollution. The Policy Director is a
champion for justice, strategically advancing our platform through coalition
partnerships, advocacy that builds public participation, and issues-based
