The Director of Finance is responsible for all finance activities for the organization related to establishing accounting procedures and assuring adherence to financial policies, overseeing the disbursement of funds in accordance with Uniform Guidance, and setting and maintaining adequate internal controls. Recruits, trains and supervise personnel.
This part-time Finance team member manages the general ledger, performs monthly journal entries and account reconciliations, assists ministry teams, and completes special projects as assigned by the Finance Director.
Forward Justice seeks a part-time Finance Manager (20 hours per week) to play a leadership role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of our finances. Imprints Cares is an early childhood education nonprofit, our mission is to enrich the lives of young children while supporting families through their journey of parenthood. The Director of Business Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting responsibilities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and adherence to all nonprofit financial regulations.
Reports to the senior director of finance and administration and is responsible for performing day-to-day operations of the finance division and all accounting functions related to the NC Rural Center’s Small Business Credit Initiative (SBCI) programs.
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and/or 5+ years of business/accounting experience in a fast paced environment. CPA preferred.
Performs the daily processing of accounts receivable financial transactions to ensure that customer accounts are maintained in an effective, up-to-date, and accurate manner. This is an entry level position.
