Events Manager - Fundraising & Development

Position Title: Events Manager
Reports to: Director of Development
Classification: Non-Exempt
Category: 20 hours per week (may vary; some weekend and evening
flexibility required)
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Development, this position will
utilize volunteers to plan, implement and execute all aspects of the Center’s fundraising
events and third party fundraisers, including the Annual Gala, to raise funds to support the
budgetary goals set forth by the organization’s leadership.
Job Qualifications:

Job Objective:

To lead and be directly responsible for successfully creating, leading, and implementing an integrated resource development strategy and developing new relationships, while maintaining existing relationships to build the organization's visibility, impact, and financial resources.
To be responsible for raising public and private sector funds to support Charlotte Family Housing programs and initiatives.
Manage the execution of corporate, foundation and faith-based organizational grants.
To focus on and lead the development and implementation of organization-wide strategies to increase the fundraising capacity.

Team: Supervises Development and Community Engagement Team.

Accountability: Reports directly to the Executive Director.
