Marketing & Communications Manager

The Marketing & Communications Manager supports all aspects of ACPA's marketing and communications, including social media, website, digital/traditional content, public relations, support for member programs, acquisition and retention, communications with families, and management of vendors. This is an opportunity to carve your own path, using an entrepreneurial lens, and lead ACPA's digital marketing future. Communication and Marketing Director

Reporting to the Scout Executive/CEO, the Communication and Marketing Director (CD) serves as a key member of the Council’s management team and an active participant in making strategic decisions affecting the Occoneechee Council. In partnership with the Volunteer Vice President of Communication and the Board of Directors, this position is responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive marketing and communication strategy for both internal and external audiences. This will include guidelines for staff-created messaging and council distributed communications.

Communications Director

For over 20 years, Lillian’s List has been at the forefront of changing the face of power in North Carolina, recruiting, training, and mentoring emerging progressive women leaders who support reproductive freedom and gender equity and are interested in running for state or local office. Lillian’s List has identified over 800 progressive leaders, trained over 700 potential candidates, supported nearly 200 women running for public office, and helped elect over 160 women to the legislature or Council of State.
