Operations Administrator

Overview

Performs general operational, and basic accounting/finance, IT, and HR functions for the chapter(s), including office management, coordination of chapter bookkeeping, preparing financial reports as required, onboarding and offboarding new staff and volunteers, and assisting the chapter as needed.

Reports to: Operations Director

Supervises: N/A

Responsibilities

RECEPTION SERVICES ASSOCIATE

 Reports to Reception Services Associate Lead
 Part-time, hourly wage to be negotiated. Position does not include benefits or paid days off.
 Exact shifts to be set by Lead; generally 3 days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am to 5pm and Saturdays from 9am to 2pm.
 Work will be done at Urban Ministries of Durham in the Resource Center Building at 410 Liberty Street.

Program Assistant

REPORTS TO: Director of Partnership Engagement & Communications
Job Summary: The Program Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance by organizing and coordinating meetings, trainings, conferences, and events. This position will support General Administrative and Partnership & Engagement activities including but not limited to coordinating meetings related to the development of Community Child Abuse Prevention Plans, Community Cafés, and the statewide biennial Summit.

Director of Partner Engagement and Pipeline Evaluation

The East Durham Children's Initiative (EDCI) is seeking to fill the position of Director of Partner Engagement and Pipeline Evaluation. This full-time, benefits-eligible position reports to the EDCI President and CEO, and Chief Operating Officer. The Director will serve as a part of EDCI’s senior leadership team and work closely with EDCI staff, partners, and evaluators to ensure the delivery of a comprehensive, high-quality, and results-oriented pipeline of services for East Durham children, youth, and families.

Summary:
Responsible for coordinating agency administrative tasks, providing professional assistance to the Executive Director, processing human resources functions and processing payroll. Serves as the main contact for all outside vendors.

Education Requirements: Associate degree preferred and experience as an Administrative Assistant in the human service area.

Experience Requirements: Candidate must have professional experience in the field of I/DD and or Mental Health. Candidate must execute all tasks with high level of professionalism, excellent oral and written communications skills, and have an in-depth knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office software.
