Description:

The Project Manager is a member of the Ready for School, Ready for Life (Ready/Ready) team, a backbone organization focused on building an innovative, responsive childhood system in Guilford County, North Carolina. The Ready/Ready team convenes key partners and galvanizes the community to: increase the number of children born healthy; ensure that more infants, toddlers and preschoolers are on track developmentally; and increase the number of children who enter Kindergarten ready for school and life success.

In collaboration with Ready/Ready, key partners (Family Connects, Nurse-Family Partnership, and HealthySteps) are engaged in developing, piloting and implementing a community impact effort focused on the prenatal period through age three.

This effort (“The Guilford Initiative”) has been made possible through a partnership with The Duke Endowment. The goal is to ensure that families are efficiently and effectively connected to the right services at the right times to improve child outcomes. This exciting collaboration will be evaluated and, potentially, replicated in other communities across North Carolina.

The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the integration of the three programs (Family Connects, Nurse-Family Partnership, and HealthySteps), and coordinating this effort in Guilford County. This includes engaging local partners, serving as an advocate for the work, and having a hands-on role in the development, pilot and implementation phases.
