A state chartered 501c(3) nonprofit corporation established in 1986 by eleven local churches. Today the Coalition is supported by 64 area churches, the United Way of Moore County, individuals, businesses, and civic groups throughout the community. The Coalition's mission is to alleviate hunger and financial strains of struggling households in Moore County.
To provide a year-round health promotion and education program in North Carolina for people 55 years of age and better through local Senior Games, State Finals, fitness leadership training for senior programs, and statewide arts and walking programs.
To promote the self-reliance of women by assessing needs, providing services and acting as a gateway to community resources.
To improve and enrich the personal and professional lives of women and their families through education, support services, networking and community resources.
To provide the nurturing care that will heal a child's broken spirit and help reunite families who have experienced discord and separation.
