The Boys & Girls Clubs mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

To engage, educate and empower children to succeed in school and in life through quality, year-round educational enrichment programs.

In our society and across our community, many young people contend with social, emotional and mental health barriers that can potentially derail their pathway to success. This is dramatically true for youth who find themselves, at no fault of their own, on the receiving end of economic disparity and hardship. However, research indicates that youth can thrive when they build positive, long-lasting relationships with peers and mentors.

Right Moves For Youth (RMFY) is a school-based, youth development and student support program focused on helping teens develop the skills to succeed in school and life. In collaboration with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS), the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD), the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and other community partners, we empower youth to get an education and pursue a better quality of life. Our mission is to provide resources and guidance necessary to help students not only graduate high school, but to have firmly in place, a plan for their future success.

To fund Second Family Program that fosters and nutures the self-development of adolescent, foster care youth in Orange County.

To recruit and match volunteers to provide a wholesome relationship for children of single parent homes in need of a secondary adult role model.

To assist public middle and high school students in Forsyth County in preparing for successful college enrollment.

To provide creative opportunities for everyone through education, instruction and expression of heritage and contemporary arts and crafts in a friendly, stimulating and enriching environment.
