Our mission is to make the dream of a post-secondary education a reality for prospective students who are descendants of an individual who lost their battle to heart disease and/or diabetes. Our goal is to ensure that no deserving scholar within our community is deprived of higher education. Qualified students must also meet academic requirements and show a financial need.
The Friends of Chapel Hill Public Library is dedicated to the support of the Chapel Hill Public Library. The Friends raise funds for the Library through the sale of books donated by the community, annual membership fees, and donations. Funds are used to enhance collections and provide support for a wide variety of Library programs and initiatives.

The specific purposes of the Foundation are to provide support to Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy, Inc. charter schoool, as well as other non-profit educational ventures that serve the purpose of increasing learning opportunities for highly gifted children within the Charlotte metropolitan area. This foundation will hold, maintain and administer assets within the purpose of providing any necessary or required facilities of assets for Metrolina Regional Scholars Academy or subsequent non-profit educational ventures.

Friends is an association of persons interested in promoting the well-being of all older adults in Orange County by supporting the development and full use of the Robert and Pearl Seymour Center, currently located at 2551 Homestead Rd. Chapel Hill, NC 27516. Said organization exists for charitable and educational purposes to receive and provide financial support derived from memberships, gifts, endowments, bequests, grants, memorials, and fundraising projects for the facility, programs and other related activities which the Center offers.

The Center for Innovative Thinking, Inc. has been established to make products, technologies and training available to government units, public agencies, and community nonprofit service organizations to improve their own, their clients,’ and other associated persons’ strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in the furtherance of their missions.
