The mission of the Hoke Reading/Literacy Council is to provide basic literacy instruction including English as a Second Language and introductory computer classes, so that all persons served may further their education and build for themselves a better life.

For the future health and vitality of Surry County, SCECP takes action, on behalf of the people of Surry County, to support children 0 – 5 years of age and their families through partnerships across the counties.
