Dorcas is a dynamic grassroots community action agency that is forward-thinking, highly regarded in the region and offers a healthy work-life balance. The training center manager plays a critical role on a small professional team that offers case management to area residents experiencing housing and other financial crises.
You will manage the people, programs, and operations of the Dorcas Training Center. The training center programs are designed to support Dorcas's mission to help people become stable and self-sufficient. You will work closely with a talented volunteer staff of career coaches, support staff, and instructors who play a critical role in program delivery. You will collaborate with a wide variety of agencies and programs across Wake County. Work hours are full-time and may include some evenings and occasional weekends.
Qualified applicants will have education and experience in career advising and program management. You must be a critical thinker, have strong interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Spanish language competency a plus.
