Position Summary
Friends of the MST seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual who is well prepared to help our organization build its capacity to connect with our members, volunteers and communities across the state.

Much of the priority focus will be in areas of the state where the MST is growing and there will be significant opportunities to grow our membership as well. The right person for this position will bring a creative approach to connecting with new people and communities along the MST and the ability to cultivate and support volunteers to complement the work of staff and other partners. Another key part of this role will be planning events, especially in 2023, which has officially been designated Year of the Trail by the state of North Carolina.

The Membership and Engagement Coordinator reports directly to the Executive Director.
