Marketing Manager Position Description

 30% Brand Management: Responsible for communicating a consistent and persuasive message and image across all of the marketing channels.
o Manage public relations initiatives
o Create and manage event-related communications
o Create and coordinate the design of print communications and reports
o Content creation across all digital platforms

 30% Community Engagement/Development Initiatives: Responsible for implementing a communications strategy for targeted groups of supporters
o Support implementation of thematic, on-going donor/volunteer communications
o Track and analyze results from supporter campaigns
o Support database management tracking engagement
o Develop print and digital communication for the annual fund-raising campaign

 20% Boutique Sales: Lead the marketing and promotion of upwards of six boutique sales annually across two locations and online
o Partner with merchandising team to develop promotional plans, timelines, and deliverables
o Analyze results, make recommendations for opportunities and create best practices
o Develop online sales strategies to support boutique sales

 10% Client communications: Support the program team with development of a client communications strategy and content creation

• 10% Provide general operational and administrative support to the Community Engagement division

We are seeking the following skills and talents:
 Two to five years marketing and communications experience.
 Demonstrated expertise prioritizing and managing workload consistent with a communications plan. Ability to manage tasks independently.
 Ability to manage multiple projects, work with stakeholders and meet deadlines.
 Demonstrated digital and social media marketing experience.
 Creative thinking and the ability to convert ideas into achieving consistent outcomes.
 Excellent writing skills; ability to develop persuasive messaging.
 Mission-driven, team-oriented, and open working style.
 The desire for excellence and attention to detail.
 Comfort with technology including competency with Salesforce, HubSpot, BidPal, Square Space or similar software systems and a demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly.
