Junior Salesforce Administrator

The Junior Salesforce Administrator is a full-time (40 hrs/week) position with the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA). The position works to ensure optimal performance and data management of CFSA’s Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack instance and its integrated applications. This is a primarily remote position with minimal travel in the Carolinas 1-2 times per year for staff retreats and annual events. If a hybrid schedule is desired, this position may also be based out of CFSA’s Pittsboro, NC, office. The Junior Salesforce Administrator reports to the Membership & Database Manager and supervises no staff members.

Job Responsibilities
DATABASE ADMINISTRATION (75%)
● Adminsters the Salesforce NPSP constituent database (members, donors, subscribers, and event attendees).
● Performs general maintenance and optimization of Salesforce NPSP, including duplicate entry cleansing, and timely imports of data from workshops and events.
● Builds custom reports and dashboards.
● Leads process improvement efforts by building new flows.
● Guides acceptance testing for new functionality.
● Maintains and updates CFSA’s applications that use Salesforce APIs including: Form Assembly, Cvent, Mailchimp, and Stripe.
● Manages Salesforce users and security.
● Proactively pursues user experience improvements.
● Ensures data integrity through regular audits and data cleanup.
PROGRAM SUPPORT (25%)
● Creates CRM-connected forms with Form Assembly (donor forms, event registration forms, communication forms), Cvent (conference registration), and Mailchimp (email marketing).
● Works with teams to determine data needs and implement Salesforce NPSP solutions.
● Supports team grant reporting needs.
● Helps train staff on Salesforce use and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
● 1-2 years of experience as a Junior Salesforce Administrator in a similar environment.
● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. ● Experience working with Salesforce’s NonProfit Success Pack (NPSP) ● In-depth knowledge of relevant Salesforce products and their functionalities.
● Required experience with dataloader.io, Form Assembly.
● Preferred experience with Cvent, Mailchimp, Stripe.
● Ability to provide Salesforce training and end-user support.
