SECU Family House is a safe, nurturing, affordable home for patients and their loved ones who travel great distances to UNC Hospitals for life-saving procedures and serious illnesses. We provide guests lodging, meals, supportive programs, transportation and a caring support network.
Our team is looking for a part time HR Manager to advise the Executive Director on employee matters and to lead and implement the following HR functions:
• Recruitment
• Employee Onboarding
• Policy Development, Maintenance, Compliance
• Employee Engagement
• Employee Relations
• Performance Management
• Payroll
• Training and Development
• Safety, including Worker’s Compensation
• Compensation and Benefits
• Regulation Compliance
An ideal candidate will be excited to collaborate with operations and leadership to further the mission of SECU Family House.
Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred;
• 5+ years of exempt HR experience
• Experience building an HR department preferred
• PHR or SPHR preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in Spanish language is a plus
