The Council on Aging in Union County seeks a mission-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead strategy, fundraising, and community impact for a successful nonprofit serving older adults and caregivers across Union County. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for organizational leadership, financial sustainability, agency compliance, and external partnerships.
The CEO plays a central role in fundraising and resource development, including donor cultivation and asks, writing and overseeing grants, special events and additional fundraising activities. Council on Aging has experienced rapid growth in both programs and personnel and is currently implementing a capital campaign to support the organization’s facility needs. In addition to multiple onsite and community-based programs, Council on Aging operates a NC-licensed in-home services program. The CEO serves as the Home Care Administrator of Record, with day-to-day supervision and services delegated to appropriately qualified staff.
