Description:

The Emily K Center seeks to hire a qualified technology enthusiast capable of igniting a spark of excitement for students around the possibilities that technology and digital literacy provide, and fostering students’ mastery of technology. Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs, the Instructional Technology Specialist will be responsible for teaching a variety of technology applications as well as proprietary, elective coding courses to students. In addition, the Instructional Technology Specialist will work with the Senior Director of Programs and other program staff to facilitate the process of embedding technology into curricular and enrichment activities, assist in the development of special projects designed to enhance students’ technological proficiency, monitor and track student participation and progress, develop procedures for preparing and managing technology-related equipment and resources, and train staff as needed to ensure institutional knowledge and processes are captured and replicable.
