Description:

The Director of Homeowner Services is responsible for ensuring a successful transition to
homeownership for Habitat for Humanity homebuyers and providing director for all the operations of the Homeowner Services Department.

The Director of Homeowner Services works with the applicant and homeowner partner families throughout the application and selection process prior to and after families become accepted into the homeowner program. 

With the assistance of volunteer committees and departmental staff, the Director of Homeowner Services will direct key aspects of the homeownership program, including homeowner selection, homeowner support, homebuyer education, mortgage origination and servicing, and delinquency management.  The Director of Homeowner Services will also oversee compliance with federal lending laws and regulation related to mortgage
lending.

Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity currently builds 6-8 homes per year and coordinates the services for approximately 157 loans. We desire to grow to consistently building 10 homes per year and create a new critical home repair program.  All programs require community outreach by the Director of
Homeowner Services.

Core responsibilities include mortgage origination and servicing, homeowner selection and support, and reporting.
