Everyone Counts: Getting Ready for the 2020 Census

Census data informs the allocation of $675 billion federal dollars every year. NC Counts estimates that communities lose about $16,000 in funding over ten years for every resident missed. Some of the clients served by your nonprofit may be at risk of being uncounted, which can affect how much money the Forsyth County community receives to support the health, transportation, education, and housing needs of its residents.

The Forsyth County Complete Count Committee, the Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust, and the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation invite you to come be a part of the conversation around making sure that everyone counts:

  • Learn how the Census affects nonprofit work
  • Learn about easy ways that your organization can help make sure your clients count
  • Learn about funding available to support your efforts to make sure everyone counts.

This event is being co-presented by the following local foundations and members of the Forsyth County Complete Count Non-Profit Subcommittee:

  • Forsyth Futures
  • HandsOn NWNC
  • The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust
