Event Planning for Nonprofit Organizations

Know your audience!  This is possibly the most important phrase in event planning and/or fundraising.  There are a number of things to consider when making the decision about whether or not to hold an event and how to proceed with both fundraising and event planning.  We'll cover a variety of topics with regard to organizational collaboration all the way through working effectively with your volunteer events committee.  Participants will be provided with information about budgeting, contract negotiation, marketing, recruiting sponsors and timelines.  We will also review a meeting planner checklist to assist you putting together a fantastic and successful event.
