Basics in Volunteer Management

The North Carolina Association of Volunteer Administration (NCAVA) is pleased to offer the Basics in Volunteer Management course online. The course will cover volunteer recruitment, retention, risk management, recognition, etc. 

·         Jan. 13 - March 16, 2021  (10 weeks). REGISTRATION FORM MUST BE COMPLETED & RECEIVED BY Jan. 11, 2021.

         PLEASE NOTE: if these dates are not convenient, agencies/organizations with approximately 8 or more students can request a customized online class. 

After enrollment, there is no set time to "log on" each day. You can access the course from any computer with Internet access. Graduates of the class will receive one Continuing Education credit from Southeastern Community College (Whiteville, NC), 12 hours toward NCAVA certification as a Certified Administrator of Volunteers in North Carolina, as well as several completed components of the certification portfolio.
