Programming Assistant Primary Job Goal: The Emily Krzyzewski Center seeks an Elementary and Middle School Programming Assistant. Under the direct supervision of the Association Director of Elementary and Middle School Programming, the Programming Assistant will provide direct support to the Pioneer Scholars program and other identified elementary and middle school program activities and related initiatives.

Responsibilities include:
• Supervise students in the gym from 3:00 to 4:00, daily.
• Provide direct services to students or supervision during programming as needed.
• Support the implementation of initiatives and events related to Pioneer Scholars and other elementary and middle school program-related functions. Responsibilities may include set-up, clean-up, printing and distributing program information to families, and managing supply distribution.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:
• High school diploma required
• Prior work or volunteer experience within educational settings is required
• Evidence of commitment to serving low-income students effectively
• Spanish-speakers encouraged to apply
• Requires occasional lifting and other physical actions necessary for set-up of tables, chairs, and other medium-weight objects
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite (docs, sheets, forms)

Hours: 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays during the school year (August through May), summer hours vary
