MANNA’s Distribution Supervisor is a hands-on working position
that involves coordinating and assisting in all functions of the
Distribution area in order to facilitate agency shopping and product distribution with responsibility for monitoring product safety/code dates, product tracking (inventory control), customer service, area sanitation and accurate agency invoicing. This position is responsible for utilizing and complying with Feeding America guidelines as well as following and monitoring AIB standards for Distribution Centers in food safety and sanitation. This position is responsible for supervising and training all staff and volunteers assigned to the Distribution Department.

Minimum Position Requirements:
• High school graduate or GED required; continuing education beyond high school preferred
• Previous supervisory experience leading a team in providing exceptional customer service
• Proof of valid driver’s license, copy of current auto insurance and clean MVR required
• Current ServSafe Certification a plus or the ability to obtain and maintain once hired
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or with warehouse equipment highly preferred
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with success in working with a diversity of volunteers, staff, donors, and agency representatives
• Demonstrated strengths in organization, prioritization, and problem solving
• Proven track record of dependability and reliability
• Proficient in the operation of computerized invoicing and inventory tracking systems
• Confident and articulate in speaking and leading in a public setting

Working Conditions:  This position will be performed in a warehouse setting with some typical office environment exposure. This setting that can be at times, hot or cold depending on the season.

This is a fast paced hands-on physical work environment. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to moderately loud within the Warehouse.
