Work with the CEO, Board of Directors and other volunteers, to plan and implement a
comprehensive development plan for short- and long-term revenue growth. The development plan will include strategies for resource development, including major gifts, corporate donations, grant solicitation and in-kind resources. Dynamic and growing organization.

Organizational Overview:

At Hope Reins, we believe hurting people need hope, especially hurting kids. Our passion is to inspire true hope and real healing for every child. We are a faith-based organization founded on the belief that healing comes from faith in Christ. Hope Reins is a safe, loving community where families in crisis experience love, comfort and compassion in the midst of crisis.

We serve kids ages 5 to 18 experiencing crises by providing free of charge, 90-minute sessions with a rescued horse and trained leader. Since 2010, we have held over 8,000 sessions and served more than 1,500 children through families and partners from 14 North Carolina counties.

Hope Reins 2018 operating budget is $1,072,000 and growing. All of our revenue is raised through unrestricted contributions from individuals, foundations, partners, and special events and programs. Hope Reins has grown 180% in the last two years allowing us to serve more children in need due to the purchase of our new facility.

Job Purpose:
