The Society supports the mission of the North Carolina Aquariums and their work in conservation, education and research through advocacy, philanthropic engagement and enhanced guest experiences.
To provide a statewide forum in which people work together to end sexual violence.
To provide funding for broad charitable educational purposes.
To provide research and information, representation on issues, programs, and staff and professional development for the 36 independent colleges and universities in North Carolina.
To support and promote infant and young children's mental health in the state of North Carolina.
To generate income from lawyers' trust accounts in order to fund programs for the public's benefit.
To perform fine choral music, primarily masterworks with orchestra; to promote the choral art; and to enrich the cultural life of the singers, audience, artistic community and community at large.
To promote music as a fundamental component of education and to provide opportunities for lifelong learning by supporting teachers, students and communities in developing and fostering excellence in music.
