To ignite the love of reading by connecting our community with books and authors. Bookmarks is a free festival of books and authors; an independent, nonprofit bookstore; and ongoing initiatives to get books in the hands of children and adults within the community. Everyone involved with Bookmarks is passionate about books with purpose. We want to welcome everyone to our celebration of books and authors and bring people together to explore new and different ideas. Because of this work, Bookmarks is becoming nationally known as an advocate for books and their power to change each of us.
