We are a social group of professionals, non-professional, and amateur photographers interested in gathering to share knowledge and take photos of local events, nature, people, and anything of interest. You will not find a more active, enthusiastic, fun and sharing group of photographers. We are THE premiere photographic Meetup group within 100 miles of the Triangle.
In order to cover the cost of the Meetup platform, speakers, contests, meeting space, and other general club activities, there will be $10 annual membership dues beginning in 2020. (Additional costs may be required for specific activities, such as admission, lodging, etc. as noted in posted Meetup events.) All of the fees go to the running of the club and no money goes to the organizers. Meetup funds received are accounted for and transferred from one organizer to the next. The financial state of the organization are reviewed during the meetings and available to any member upon request.
If you are undecided about what you are paying for, that’s okay. We get it. We want you to feel like the club is of value to each and every member. Non-members are invited to attend up to 3 meetings prior to registering. (Events are generally restricted to members / member guests only. Individual exceptions must be approved in advance by the specific event organizer.)
All participants and their guests accept and understand that participation in any of this group's activities are done at their own risk. They should come appropriately dressed, have all necessary provisions and supplies, and have the proper equipment in order to fully participate and enjoy the designated activity.
All participants should come with a spirit of cooperation and with a sense of flexibility as events can change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
