Our philosophy is that every individual deserves the quality of life he or she wants when facing a serious illness or near life’s end. Our mission is empowering individuals, families and communities to embrace meaning throughout a chronic serious illness and at the end of life.

To enhance the lives of people who are disabled or disadvantaged through work assessment, job training and job placement.
To provide meeting space or AA and Al-Anon groups.
To improve functional outcomes and life participation access to those with aphasia.
To provide care, training, shelter, and new homes for beagles. To provide education to the public about the beagle bread and dog behavior/care.
The Triangle Debate League (TDL) seeks to improve the lives by of underserved students in the Research Triangle through the benefits of competitive debate and to enrich the broader debate community through their participation.
We believe all students should have access to competitive speech and debate programs, which have been shown to improve academic and life skills and outcomes, broaden networks and horizons, and cultivate self-esteem, confidence, and core values.
TDL provides coaching, competitions, and opportunities for service to underserved high school students, at no cost, made possible by the generosity, ingenuity, and commitment of our partners, volunteers, and donors.
TDL serves as a stepping stone, an opportunity to build skills and relationships that will propel students to new personal, academic, and professional achievements. TDL further contributes to this advancement by providing its competitors opportunities to compete in district, state, and national debate tournaments and, later, to give back as alumni coaches and volunteers.
To promote the growth of ultimate frisbee in the Triangle and throughout North Carolina via youth programs, purchase and development of dedicated fields, and running of tfda-sponsored leagues, venues, and tournaments.
