NCSFF works to increase diversity and engagement of underrepresented student populations in science and engineering research. NCSFF organizes science and engineering fairs to showcase and celebrate student research and learning.

To further the mission of increasing organ, eye and tissue donation into the national registry in North Carolina so that more patients can benefit from live-saving and life-improving organ, eye and tissue transplants. To hold fundraising and awareness events during which donor registration will occur as well as volunteer or partner with other organizations which aim to increase the number of registered donors in North Carolina. To travel to the Transplant Games of America, held every two years, to compete, learn, celebrate and honor both sides of the donor/recipient experience.
