Communications & Engagement Officer

The Communications and Engagement Officer will be responsible for planning, guiding, and supporting the overall communications and engagement strategy for current and prospective supporters of Mountain Housing Opportunities. This includes but is not limited to extensive writing, content sourcing and creation, and project management for print and digital communications, website, social media, press releases, and other philanthropy-oriented collaterals. This position shares responsibility for event strategy and production, which includes MHO’s annual signature fundraising event, real estate development events such as groundbreakings and grand openings for MHO communities, and other constituent engagement events as necessary. Finally, this role supports MHO’s program staff and leadership team in growing awareness of and building connections to MHO’s suite of affordable housing programs among eligible audiences and the community at large. This position’s area of responsibility is supported by a contracted brand agency that provides project management, design, media relations, web development, advertising, and other necessary services.

Digital Communications Specialist

The Golden LEAF Foundation seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, quick learner to join the team at Golden LEAF responsible for external-facing activities of the Foundation. The focus of this role is to support all Golden LEAF Foundation and Golden LEAF Scholarship social media, website, email, graphic design, and other related needs. This role reports to the Communications and External Affairs Manager and works closely with the Scholarship Program Manager.

Primary Functions

Farmers of Color Network Communications Coordinator

Position Summary: RAFI is seeking a part-time Farmers of Color Network (FOCN) Communications Coordinator who will work closely with the Farmers of Color Network team and Director of Communications to increase FOCN’s overall visibility and facilitate a strategic flow of relevant, actionable information to its stakeholders. The primary focus includes coordinating, designing, and publishing digital and print communications materials; social media posting and monitoring; and communications to membership. This position will be supervised by the Director of Communications.

Recruitment and Outreach Specialist

The North Carolina Child Treatment Program (NC CTP) is a collaborative initiative within CCFH. NC CTP has been in operation since 2006, serving as a statewide platform for the implementation and support of child trauma mental health EBTs. In 2013, the North Carolina General Assembly awarded NC CTP an annually-recurring appropriation, administered by the NC Division of Child and Family Well-Being (NC DCFW), to support an array of child trauma mental health EBTs across North Carolina. Currently, NC CTP disseminates seven EBTs across North Carolina.

Communications Associate

The Junior League of Raleigh is seeking a Communications Associate. JLR uses communications tools to recruit new members, engage and involve current members, raise money to support our causes, and publicize our events, projects and programs. The communications associate oversees digital and print projects from conception to delivery including e-newsletters, social media posts, printed collateral, video and other content, signage, and promotional branding. This position also manages the website. The communications associate is responsible for communicating JLR’s mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities to our membership, our community partners, and the public. She/he/they also assist with donor and sponsor communications to meet the organization’s fundraising goals.

Assistant Director Marketing and Development

Dress for Success Triangle NC is seeking an assistant director of marketing and development to join our team. This leading mission-driven non-profit organization empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and life. The Triangle affiliate, one of 145 global affiliates of Dress for Success, was founded in 2008 and in just 16 years has empowered over 22,500 women during their career transitions.

The Assistant Director of Marketing and Development reports to the Director of Development and directly supervises the Marketing Development Associate. This position leads all events for the affiliate to include a gala, fashion show, luncheon, donor and volunteer appreciation events and others as needed. The role, in collaboration with the Development Director, creates the overall marketing/communications plan and ensures that the plan is executed according to the corporate branding standards, marketing plan and timeline. The asst director is responsible for managing, teaching, mentoring, and coaching the individual in the marketing associate role.

Director of Communication & Outreach

The Guilford County Partnership for Children (GCPC) is a local non-profit strategically directing over $17M annually for young children and families in Guilford County. The majority of our funding comes from state and federal funding through contracts with the NC Partnership for Children (NCPC) and the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE). Additional funding comes from local foundations, corporate and individual giving. GCPC is part of North Carolina’s nationally recognized, statewide Smart Start network.
