Our Mission:  The mission of The First Tee of the Triangle is to impact the lives of young people by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values and promote healthy choices through the game of golf.

Job Description:  The site coordinator’s primary responsibility is to maintain the integrity of The First Tee of the Triangle’s programs, ensuring we are offering a consistent product at each location. The site coordinator at each facility will be the primary contact for parents and the facility on evenings in which Linkster, PLAYer, and Par classes are held. Primary responsibilities include communication with facilities, class set-up, recordkeeping for certification and attendance, and coaching.

Time Commitment:
• Approximately 10 hours per week in spring, summer, and fall to include weekday afternoons/nights and weekends.
o Session 1: Week of March 12 -  Week of April 30 (days may be subject to change)

 Wednesdays:  4:30-7:30 pm
 Thursdays:  4:30-7:30 pm
o Session 2: Week of May 14 – Week of July 9 (days may be subject to change)

o Session 3: Week of July 16 – Week of September 3  (days may be subject to change)

Responsibilities:
• Attend all classes at your designated facility.
• Arrive 60 minutes prior to class to check in with partner facility, reserve activity space, and set-up activities as outlined in lesson plan.
• Maintain records for all participants at your facility.
• Administer PLAYer and Par level certification during weeks #7 and #14 of spring and fall programs.
• Serve as a lead coach in the case of a lead coach’s absence or coach vacancy.
• Serve as an assistant coach in all instances where the lead coach is present for class.
• Promote The First Tee’s mission by modeling The First Tee Nine Core Values and adherence to The First Tee Code of Conduct.
• Actively engage, assist, and mentor participants.
• Attend all coach orientations, coach trainings and special meetings.
• Serve as a role model of mature, responsible behavior to participants.
• Encourage a fun and learning environment.
• Maintain positive, professional and friendly relationships with parents and participants.
• Communicate regularly with the Program Director.
• Foster positive relationships with facility staff members.
• Read, adhere to, apply and model established policies, procedure and practices of The First Tee of the Triangle.

• Ability to teach lessons and communicate verbally in a positive way to participants, parents and other volunteers.
• Customer Service
• Experience and/or interest in youth development.
• Personable, motivational and charismatic in working with youth.
• Management Skills
• Effective in managing and motivating Volunteer Assistant Coaches.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including afternoons, nights and weekends.
