TIME/CLASSIFICATION/LOCATION:  Full-time/Exempt/Remote (home-based)
REPORTS TO:  Prevention Programs Director

Job Summary:  The purpose of this position is to engage with local agencies and external partners to support and coordinate the use of data for successful implementation, and practitioners’ delivery, of evidence-based and evidence-informed parenting programs. This position involves coaching local agencies, coordinating the administrative aspects of statewide program evaluations, and communicating with external stakeholders about evaluation results.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:  
Coach and support local agencies throughout North Carolina
• Engage in coaching with local providers by phone, Web conferencing, and in-person as needed to support use of data, using techniques such as appreciative inquiry, empowerment evaluation, utilization focused evaluation, or developmental evaluation
• Plan and deliver webinar and in-person trainings based on the needs of Network agencies
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative strategies for engaging sites around using data
• Assist local agencies in developing systems for better utilizing data to inform their work
• Understand and communicate the purpose of various program evaluation tools 
• Help practitioners share data with families, local funders, other community stakeholders

Administrative aspects of statewide program evaluations
• Manage contracts and compliance with external evaluators
• Review evaluation reports for accuracy and collaborate with evaluators about necessary edits prior to dissemination 
• Create agency summaries based on comprehensive evaluation results
• Disseminate site reports to agencies and funders, and correspond with sites about deadlines for data collection

Coordinate messaging with external stakeholders regarding evaluation results
• Collaborate with PCANC staff to accurately message evaluation results for use in press releases, social media, and external presentations
• Collaborate with staff across departments to support PCANC in becoming a more data-driven organization
• Effectively communicate about evaluation results with funders and partners
• Use implementation, outcome, and process data to inform a wide array of policies, practices, partnership engagement, and fiscal outreach

Other responsibilities 
• Participate in weekly team meetings, monthly staff meetings, supervision, and agency-wide activities
• Participate in ongoing processes to improve services
• Ensure timely reporting of grant deliverables; comply with agency audit standards/documentation
• All other responsibilities as they arise or are assigned

Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology, counseling, education, public health, or related field; Bachelor’s Degree with commensurate experience may be considered
• Strong background in applied program evaluation in community-based settings as well as program evaluation as embedded in systems change
• Understanding of implementation science and evidence-based parent programs is preferred
• Experience in providing coaching or technical assistance is preferred
• Prior experience working in, and with, community-based agencies
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and well versed in software to support data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Ability to learn new technology platforms
• Non-profit experience including grant compliance is preferred
• Some travel is required, primarily within North Carolina. Weekly meetings in Raleigh/Durham may also be required
