INTO LIGHT Project's mission is to change the conversation about drug addiction.
The INTO LIGHT Project exhibit seeks to dismantle long held negative stereotypes and myths about those with drug addiction. This national non-profit project uses original graphite portraits and stories of individuals in each state who have died because of substance use disorder. The use of graphite portraits illustrates that we are all made up of light and dark and the stories depict that no one’s lives were filled with only dark moments, and they should not be defined by them.

Yet roughly half of the world lives in technological poverty, with little to no access to the internet and limited opportunities for education and training. IFGI addresses this technology gap by increasing access to technology and supporting education and tech literacy for the technologically poor.

Since 1987, the Iranian Cultural Society of North Carolina has served its membership and the greater community in organizing cultural events, gatherings, and classes to help grow and celebrate Persian culture in the state of North Carolina, USA. The Iredell County Partnership for Young Children (ICPYC) is a 501 (c) (3), public/private organization dedicated to measurably increasing learning and healthy development of children birth to age five in Iredell County.
